The South Gloucestershire Playscheme is a place for 5-11 year olds to take part in FREE, fun activities during the summer holidays.
Come along and have some fun with our great team of staff and volunteers. Our playscheme is a place for 5-11 year olds to take part in FREE, fun activities during the summer holidays for children living or attending school in South Gloucestershire.
Each day children will take part in sports, games and arts & crafts. Please do not send them in their best clothes as they may get messy.
We will provide a cold lunch each day which will be either pasta or sandwiches with plenty of fruit. Please provide a drink for your child to bring with them. No fizzy drinks please.

Additionally, FREE Family Fun Sessions will be held at the same venue on Fridays 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th August 2023. Take part in arts and crafts, games, and have fun together. Refreshments provided. no booking required, just pop in anytime from 10.30am to 2.30pm.
Booking guidance
Please note that there are two types of booking available (see below). You can select several dates at the same time and will only have to complete your / your child’s details once.
- If your child is on BENEFIT related free school meals you will need to choose the HAF booking for your preferred location. South Gloucestershire Council will check your eligibility and you will receive an email confirmation if it is correct. If you are not entitled to this, you will receive an email saying this and you will need to book on the other one.
- If your child is NOT on benefit related free school meals, you need to book on the FREE for your preferred location. You will receive an email confirmation once your space is confirmed.
If your child has additional needs, please contact Barbara on 07510 380596 to discuss and ensure we can meet their needs. If she does not answer, please leave a voicemail with your name and number and she will call you back.
