Bradley Stoke Town Council would like to invite all older members of the Bradley Stoke community to an Afternoon Tea Party between 2pm and 4pm on Friday 5th July 2024 at Brook Way Activity Centre.

D-Day 80th anniversary commemoration

Residents are invited to join the mayor, councillors and staff for the ceremonial lighting of a beacon to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the D-Day landings and the reading of The International Tribute.

The short ceremony will take place at 9.15pm on Thursday 6th June 2024.

International Women’s Day event

Bradley Stoke Town Council and Southern Brooks invite you to attend this event on Friday 8th March 2024 to hear from guest speaker and founder of the original Red Dress Project, Kirstie Macleod and other more local groups looking at the Past, Present and Future of Women’s Rights.

The event will also introduce our own Community Red Dress Project, supported by local volunteers and community groups.

Free garden tree/hedge event

Help fight climate change. Be part of the solution and plant a tree to help nature.

Following on from the successful event in January 2023, this year’s free native tree/hedge event is taking place on Saturday 27th January 2024, from 10am to 12noon.

This year, you will also be able to pick up a free packet of wildflower seeds to be planted in your garden.

Free native trees/hedges are available for residents of Bradley Stoke

All trees/hedges should fit in a standard car. Offer limited to one per household and are available on a first-come, first served basis. Just pick a tree or hedging plants and pin your plant’s location on our map.

Organised by Bradley Stoke Town Council in cooperation with Bradley Stoke in Bloom, Bradley Stoke Zero Carbon Community Group and South Gloucestershire Council.
