Bradley Stoke’s Royal Wedding Community ‘street’ party takes place at the town’s Jubilee Centre complex [BS32 8HL, map] on Friday 29th April 2011.
The Friends of Jubilee Green, event managers Re-energize and Bradley Stoke Town Council are organising the event to celebrate the wedding of HRH Prince William to Kate Middleton.
The centerpiece of the event will be 14 ‘x 10’ outdoor big screen TV showing live coverage of the Royal Wedding, with a variety of catering units on hand to feed the crowd as well as a beer tent for that celebratory tipple.
The event will be officially opened by BBC Weatherman Ian Fergusson at 10:20am and Radio Bristol’s Ali Vowles will be broadcasting her show live from the event between 10am and 2pm.
Children’s entertainment will be provided with a puppet show before the wedding and party activities on Jubilee Green in the afternoon.

- The Ramada Grange Hotel is providing ‘goodie bags’ that the Friends of Jubilee Green will be giving out on the day.
- Bradley Stoke Leisure Centre has donated a prize for the Prince and Princess fancy dress competition.
