Complaints about the T1 bus service
Seeing a lot of complaints on Twitter about issues with the T1 express bus service which passes through Bradley Stoke on its route between Thornbury and Bristol city centre. The service received a lot of positive comment when it started back in May (e.g. http://bit.ly/2Nak986), but things seem to have gone downhill in recent weeks, with ‘no shows’ and buses sailing past stops because they are full (possibly as a result of a previous ‘no show’).

We understand that South Gloucestershire Council will begin exchanging 240-litre black bins for the smaller 140-litre bins from tomorrow (Thursday 25th January) in Bradley Stoke. Around 4,000 properties in Bradley Stoke are due to have their bins replaced on their regular collection day this week.

Traffic congestion
Traffic congestion in Bradley Stoke tonight. Tailbacks down Brook Way and Bradley Stoke Way. Is it caused by the timings of the new traffic light timings at Aztec West, or just the usual heavy volume of traffic on a wet Tuesday?
