Thornbury FM becomes GlosS FM

Thornbury FM, which recently extended its broadcast area to include Bradley Stoke, has changed its name to GlosS FM in order to better reflect its wider coverage area. Thornbury community radio begins transmissions with increased coverage area

Local community radio station Thornbury FM has begun its latest month-long broadcasting period using a re-positioned transmitter that extends its coverage as far as Bradley Stoke. The station currently broadcasts for two 28-day sessions a year, but is campaigning for a permanent broadcasting licence that would allow it to transmit throughout the year.
