Bradley Stoke Town Council has announced that it will be launching its 2023 Charity Scarecrow Trail on Saturday 21st October at 9am. The trail will run throughout the half-term school holiday and close on Sunday 29th October at 6pm. Trail maps costing £2 can be purchased from the council’s three activity centres and a number of other locations around the town.

Council on the lookout for scarecrow designers ahead of 2023 trail
Bradley Stoke Town Council has put out a call for scarecrow builders ahead of the 2023 renewal of the town’s annual charity scarecrow trail. The theme for 2023 is “international” and the trail will run over the school half-term holiday, from 21st to 29th October. Entries are invited from individuals, families, community organisations and businesses.

The 2021 Bradley Stoke Scarecrow Trail held over the school summer holidays was a resounding success with hundreds of local families taking on the challenge of visiting all 29 figures. This was the second year for this community event, with the theme of the scarecrows this time being characters from children’s books, films or nursery rhymes.
