Nine rescued hedgehogs that have been looked after over the winter by volunteers from Hedgehog Rescue Bristol & South Gloucestershire (located in Yate) have been released into the grounds of Wheatfield Primary School in Bradley Stoke as part of a biodiversity project.

Hedgehogs are on the decline, and climate changes might be affecting the way they hibernate. We have a large hedgehog population in Bradley Stoke, so if you see one from the 1st February onwards, the People’s Trust for Endangered Species and the British Hedgehog Preservation Society want to know.
