Contract opportunity: Outdoor gym equipment

The Town Council is looking to provide Bradley Stoke with free to access outdoor gym equipment fixed into a permanent setting.

Specification for the project is Gym equipment is to be installed inside a 50M marked running track made of coni/flexipave with trench edging and interior equipment consisting of:

  • Calisthenics combi workout with equipment for pull ups, vertical pole, parallel bars, overhead ladder and exercise bench with more if possible.
  • Magnetic Kettle Bells
  • Suspension Trainer
  • Step ups
  • Exercise bike
  • Hand/arm bike

Value of project: £0 to £85,000

Closing date: 5th January 2024, 5pm

Public consultation on litter bin provision

Bradley Stoke Town Council is currently reviewing the litter bin provision in the town and is keen to hear from residents with suggestions/ideas of locations for new litter bins, or whether there are any bins which are possibly underused and could be moved to a better location.

Locations of all current bins and other street furniture can be viewed on the Street Furniture page of the town council website.

Casual vacancy for a town councillor

Public notice.

Notice is hereby given that a casual vacancy has occurred in the office of Councillor for Bradley Stoke Town Council, Bradley Stoke South Ward.

An election will be held to fill the vacancy if notice of a request for such an election is given to the Returning Officer, South Gloucestershire Council, PO Box 1953, Bristol, BS37 0DB by ten Local Government electors for the said electoral area no later than 30th December 2021.

If no request for an election is given, the Town Council will fill the vacancy by co-option.

Notice is hereby given that a casual vacancy has occurred in the office of Councillor for the Bradley Stoke, North Ward.

An election will be held to fill the vacancy if notice of a request for such an election is given to the Returning Officer, South Gloucestershire Council, PO Box 1953, The Council Offices, Badminton Road, Bristol BS37 0DE by ten Local Government electors for the said electoral area no later than 5pm on Tuesday 9th February 2021.

If no request for an election is given, the Town Council will fill the vacancy by co-option.
