Free removal of graffiti from private property in Bradley Stoke – for the next fortnight

South Gloucestershire Council is offering to remove graffiti free of charge from private property in Bradley Stoke. The initiative, which starts today (Monday 6th), was announced at last week’s meeting of the Bradley Stoke Safer & Stronger Community Group. The Council normally charges £15 to remove graffiti from private property, but the fee is being waived for the next fortnight.

Conservatives retract LibDem sixth form slur on eve of Meadowbank by-election

Bradley Stoke Conservatives have made an embarrassing public retraction of a statement made in a recent election campaign leaflet. The apology, made in a leaflet delivered to homes in the Meadowbank parish ward yesterday evening, concerns an accusation that Liberal Democrat candidate Jon Williams had “attempted to oppose” plans for a sixth form at Bradley Stoke Community School. Plans circulated at yesterday’s meeting of the Bradley Stoke Safer & Stronger Community Group revealed previously unannounced tenants of the Willow Brook Centre, Bradley Stoke’s new town centre development.
