Press Release
Leading sandwich, sweet and savoury specialists Greggs has today opened its sixteenth Bristol shop and launched its new range of spooky treats.
The high-street baker forms part of the new retail development at the heart of Bradley Stoke, one of the largest private housing estates in Europe. The 114 sq m shop has created 15 new jobs ranging from shop manager, assistant manager, senior sales, part time assistants and weekend staff.
As well as its new range of Hallowe’en themed sweet treats, customers can pick up Greggs’ range of hot drinks and soups seven days a week, as well as Greggs best-selling range of savouries, sandwiches, sweet treats and bread.
Su Adams, regional sales manager for Greggs, said, “Since opening our first shop in Bristol we have enjoyed huge success, so when the opportunity to open a sixteenth outlet in such a convenient location arose, we felt it was perfect timing.
“We hope our customers who are familiar with our quality brand will appreciate the convenience of being able to pop out for lunch without having to travel into the city centre.”
The shop has new equipment, counters and a purpose-built walk-in chiller to ensure all food baked and prepared in-store is of the highest quality. It is air conditioned and houses a new staff room and changing area.
Famed for its quality, freshly-baked products, Greggs currently has 118 shops across Wales and the South West supplied by its purpose-built bakery in Treforest, South Wales, which supplies fresh products to be baked in-store every day.
The new Bradley Stoke shop is located at Unit 2, Town Centre Retail Units, Bradley Stoke. It will open Monday or Saturday from 8-6pm and Sunday 11-5pm.
