Girl rockers are making themselves heard

An all-girl teenage rock band have been making waves in a national music competition. A Holiday Rumour – made up of five teenagers from Bradley Stoke – have breezed through an audition and the regional finals of Live and Unsigned. They are now preparing to appear in the area finals in May
Birthday bash for band that’s played 600 shows

One of Bristol longest-running covers band will perform a special gig to celebrate the 50th birthday of their lead singer. Doing Time, who have been playing gigs at clubs and pubs across the city for 16 years, are set to mark the landmark birthday of vocalist Tony Rooke by staging a concert at the Fleece on Friday.
