Christmas fun
Willow Brook Centre
Christmas Jamboree on Friday 29th November 2024, from 4pm to 8pm.
An evening of free festive fun. Free funfair rides; meet Santa; mince pies and mulled wine; face painting; glitter tattoos; balloon modelling; meet Elsa and Anna; Christmas crafts; circus performer; goodie bags and more.
Note: There is no traditional Christmas lights countdown/switch-on this year.

Christmas markets
The Brightwell
Christmas Market at The Brightwell (West of England MS Therapy Centre) on Saturday 30th November 2024, from 11am to 2pm
Come and join us for a fabulous festive market as we countdown to Christmas.
Showcasing a wide variety of gifts and crafts this will be the perfect opportunity to start (or finish) your Christmas shopping. The variety of wonderful local stall holders, you are sure to find the perfect Christmas gifts for family and friends.
Mini Massive Sax Flextet will be bringing the festive tunes to life – all donations are greatly received for the charity.
There will be scrumptious refreshments on sale throughout the event to purchase too.
Christmas starts here! There is no need to book just come along and enjoy, entry is FREE.
So, come along and kick off the festive season whilst supporting The Brightwell and our mission to support people affected by MS and other neurological conditions.

Santa visits
Santas on a Bike

Hundreds of motorbiking Santas will pass through Bradley Stoke on Saturday 7th December 2024 to raise festive cheer in support of Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).
The ride leaves Winterbourne Academy at 1pm and will travel north up Bradley Stoke Way, passing the willow Brook Centre at approximately 1.10pm.

The Float Group

Saturday 14th December 2024 will see Santa will be touring the streets of Stoke Gifford, Little Stoke and Bradley Stoke on the Southmead Hospital Charity’s Christmas float.
The planned route will be published on social media (see link below) nearer the time.
The float will leave the Willow Brook Centre, Bradley Stoke at 4.30pm and drive to the official start of the route at the junction of Knightwood Road and Winterbourne Road in Stoke Gifford. From there the route will be:
- North Road
- Hatchet Road
- Ratcliffe Drive
- Little Stoke Lane
- Kingsway
- Lawford Avenue
- Russell Avenue
- Little Stoke Lane
- Braydon Avenue
- Brook Way
- Hawkins Crescent
- Brook Way
The route will officially finish at Manor Farm Roundabout.

Original Santa Float
Fundraising for The Guild of Friends of the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children and Time is Precious.
Coming to Bradley Stoke on Saturday 21st December 2024.

The float will leave Planet Ice, Cribbs Causeway, at 6.30pm/6.45pm and drive to the official start of the route at the top of Brook Way (near Aldi) in Bradley Stoke for approximately 7pm. From there the route will be:
- Brook Way
- Baileys Court Road
- Webbs Wood Road
The route will officially finish at Webbs Wood Roundabout.

Christmas Carols
Carol Bus

Bus operator First West of England is joining forces with West Country charity Operation Community Hamper (OCH) on an eight-day tour of the region aboard a special open top Christmas carol bus to create 1,000 hampers for vulnerable families struggling in the cost-of-living crisis.
The bus, kitted out with lights, music and Christmas characters, will be visiting Stoke Gifford and Bradley Stoke on Monday 9th December 2024, between 6pm and 8pm.
As well as spreading some festive cheer across the region, the main aim of the ‘carol bus’ is to collect luxury Christmas items donated by the public for the OCH appeal.

Community Carol Service at the Willow Brook Centre, Bradley Stoke, on Thursday 12th December 2024.
The Churches in Bradley Stoke warmly invite you to attend.
Time: Refreshments from 6.10pm; carols from 6.30pm.

- Singing led by local school choirs
- Free refreshments and goodie bags
