Kerbside collections of food waste and plastic bottles look set to be introduced in South Gloucestershire following talks between the District Council and waste contractor SITA. Bradley Stoke Town Council has announced the appointment of Sharon Petela as its new Town Clerk. Ms Patela will “take up the reins” on 4th January 2010, allowing a few days overlap before the current Town Clerk, David Chandler, retires on 15th January.
