Greggs the bakers has joined the line up of stores opening at the Willow Brook Centre, Bradley Stoke’s new town centre development.
Centre manager Scott Lahive has confirmed rumours that have been circulating since early August, when the Greggs name appeared on a prototype of the official Willow Brook Centre website. More recently, an advert for jobs at a “Greggs store in Bradley Stoke” was spotted by a Journal reader at the company’s shop in Kingswood and flyers for “job vacancies at Greggs” have been displayed at the reception desk of Bradley Stoke Leisure Centre.
The new Greggs store will occupy unit 2 in the new Town Square complex (pictured above), next to Costa Coffee. An as yet un-let unit will separate it from the KFC fast food restaurant in unit 4.
The prospect of a “confectioners” taking a unit in the new Town Square had previously been mentioned by Mr Lahive on The Journal’s guided tour of the Willow Brook Centre.
