Local children to take centre stage at the Willow Brook Centre

Local youngsters will get the opportunity to show off their talents at a Children’s Festival hosted by the Willow Brook Centre throughout December.

The festival has been put together by Willow Brook and Explore Learning to give local children’s groups and clubs a platform to show shoppers what they can do. The groups cater for children of all ages from babies through to teenagers and include dance, music, scouts and even first aid.

Willow Brook is also running a competition for local primary school children aged 7 to 11 to write a Christmas story. The five winning stories picked from each age group will be included in a short book titled ‘Christmas Stories, by the Children of Bradley Stoke’. The full programme (subject to change) is:

“When I asked my children and their parents if they would like to perform some Babyballet at Willow Brook’s Children’s Festival, they were all really excited. Now we can’t wait for our performance on Sunday 14th.”
