A popular car boot sale that takes place near Bradley Stoke will reopen for the 2024 season on Sunday 12th May, organisers have told the Journal.

The weekly Trench Lane Boot Sale, is held on Sundays on a farmland site opposite the entrance to Woodlands Golf Club [BS32 4JZ, map].

The new season was due to commence at the beginning of April but has been delayed due to the field being too wet after one of the wettest winters on record.

The fields at the site are being mown today (Saturday 11th) in preparation for Sunday’s reopening.

As in previous years, the sale will open to buyers at 7am. Trading usually goes on until around midday, but may end earlier if the weather is unfavourable.

Sellers are charged £7 for a car or £10 for a van.
