Sarah Nutchey, the Instructor at the Kumon Bradley Stoke Study Centre, began her Kumon career in 1998 with around 12 students, and over the last 25 years she has nurtured more than 1,400 students through the Kumon maths and English programmes. This year marks the 25th anniversary of Kumon in Bradley Stoke.
From humble beginnings at Bradley Stoke Leisure Centre to now running her Ofsted-registered study centre in permanent commercial premises at the Willow Brook Centre, the centre has grown and developed, and Sarah has grown and developed her expertise as a Kumon Instructor. She has been awarded Elite status numerous times, meaning that her centre has been internationally recognised within Kumon. To earn the prestigious Elite status, Sarah has developed students who are able to study ahead of their school level, working independently with excellent study skills, and has also nurtured students who are able to complete both the maths and the English Kumon programmes.
One of Sarah’s students, Arjhith, was recently awarded his completion certificate in the English programme (reading and analysing texts at A-level English standard). Arjhith began the programme when he was in Year 1 at primary school and completed it in Year 6. This took dedication and perseverance. He was very proud and happy to complete the English programme and continues to study maths at the Bradley Stoke Kumon centre, with a goal to complete this programme as well. His parents commented that they were delighted with his progress and that his hard work and dedication has enabled him to earn a place at Pate’s Grammar School, starting in September.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Kumon in Bradley Stoke, Sarah is offering a special discounted registration rate of £25 from 25th June to 25th July 2023 for the first 25 students who sign up.
