Four-year-olds can now join Rainbows in Bradley Stoke after age limit lowered

Bradley Stoke parents have welcomed the news that Girlguiding – the leading charity for girls and young women in the UK – is officially opening its doors to four-year-olds. Rainbows, the charity’s youngest section, will now welcome girls from the age of four up to seven years, providing opportunities for more girls to experience the fun, friendship and adventure of Girlguiding.

Plans go in for 16 electric vehicle chargers at Bradley Stoke shopping centre

Bradley Stoke residents and visitors to the town could soon to able to charge their electric vehicles (EVs) at the Willow Brook shopping centre, if a planning application submitted by Osprey Charging Network gains approval from South Gloucestershire Council. Multiple community ‘warm spaces’ now operational in Bradley Stoke

Residents facing soaring energy bills amid forecasts of freezing temperatures in the coming days are being offered the opportunity of using a number of free community ‘warm spaces’ that have been set up around Bradley Stoke. These are at two local churches and all three of the town council’s activity centres. Bradley Stoke Library is also being promoted as a haven of warmth.

BSCS Reception class takes special bus trip for learning and fun

Children from Bradley Stoke Community School Primary Phase enjoyed their very own First West of England bus for the morning when they took a mystery roundtrip to Bristol and back. The four- and five-year-olds, some of whom had never been on a bus before, had lots of fun singing and learning with their teachers. The trip linked in with their ‘journeys and transport’ learning topic.
