The 2020 GCSE results at Bradley Stoke Community School are reported to be “broadly in line” with last year’s outcomes, with 85 percent of students achieving a grade 4 or above in both English and maths (82 percent last year) and 60 percent achieving at least a grade 5 in both subjects (56 percent last year).

Timetable changes coming into effect on Sunday 6th September 2020 will see two new bus services operating in Bradley Stoke as Stagecoach’s 77 and 3B are replaced by new routes. There are also changes to services in the neighbouring areas of Little Stoke and Stoke Gifford.

Work on a £2.9m scheme of major improvements at Great Stoke (Rabbit) Roundabout is still on track to be completed by the end of September, three months ahead of schedule. A three-week period of overnight road closures that began on 5th August was drawing to an end as we went to press.

With the improvement work at Great Stoke Roundabout (a.k.a. Rabbit Roundabout) now “nearly complete” (three months ahead of schedule), a series of overnight road closures is due to begin on Wednesday 5th August 2020 to allow resurfacing of the carriageway to be carried out.
