A local motor trade company is celebrating the opening of a new MOT and Service Centre in north Bristol.
LCM Automotive, well known for selling quality used cars and commercial vehicles in the local area, has recently opened the centre at a site on Golf Course Lane, Filton BS34 7QS.
Business owner Nick Malpas, who established LCM Automotive in 2013, says the business has built up a reputation for “extremely well prepared vehicles at competitive prices” and offers “excellent levels of customer service”. Speaking about the firm’s new venture, he told the Journal:
“Our MOT and Service Centre was setup to provide a trustworthy, friendly and reliable garage that offers its services at a reasonable price in the local area. We have kitted out our new workshops with the latest equipment, so that our highly skilled and experienced technicians have all of the tools they need to carry out their work to the highest possible standard. We operate a small but efficient workshop and provide a polite, professional and personal service to all of our customers.”
Nick added:
“Our main aim is to put the customer first. We treat all customers fairly, which means we will quote you before we do any work to your vehicle, we won’t use complicated jargon when we speak to you and, wherever possible, we will show you any parts that we have replaced to show that they truly did need changing.”
Servicing starts from just £99 and MOTs are usually £49. Combo Offers (MOT combined with a service) are even better value, starting from £119.
The firm aims to offer main dealer quality and service, but at much lower prices, as Nick further explained:
“Our computer system gives us access to all manufacturer service schedules, so we are able to carry out the exact service that your car would receive in a main dealer. We also offer free courtesy cars (subject to availability).”

The centre is holding a launch party on Saturday 2nd September from 11am to 2pm, when there will be entertainment for kids (bouncy castle) and refreshments provided.
