The Mall at Cribbs Causeway is preparing to give away the last of the 10,000 FREE tickets available for its Bristol Jubilee Concert on Saturday 2nd June.
The final weekend ticket giveaway will take place this Saturday and Sunday (26th/27th May) at 11am and 2pm from the Upper Level of The Mall, before the last batch of tickets goes on release from The Mall’s Information Desk on Monday 28th May (while stocks last).
Pop starlet Pixie Lott will be headlining the exclusive concert, supported by X Factor finalist Misha B and local Cheltenham band Young Kato, while Bristol born comedian and MTV presenter Joel Dommett will compère the two hour event.
Maria Crayton, Head of Marketing at The Mall at Cribbs Causeway, said:
“We want to make sure that everybody has a fair chance of collecting the last few tickets.”
Tickets to the concert are free, but fans are asked to donate just £1 in exchange for their ticket to raise vital funds for a Life for a Cure, Ryan Bresnahan’s Meningitis Appeal; a local cause raising money in association with Meningitis UK to find the ‘ultimate’ vaccine to fight meningitis.
The Mall is also running a free prize draw in which the lucky winners will get to meet Pixie Lott prior to the Jubilee Concert. Enter online before midnight on Monday 28th May.
The Bristol Jubilee Concert begins at 7pm on Saturday 2nd June. 2012. Gates open at 4:30pm.
Young Kato return to The Mall after supporting Olly Murs at the shopping centre’s Christmas lights switch-on concert in November 2011. They are currently working on a four-track EP, due to be released on 23rd July 2012.
P.S. The Bradley Stoke Community Festival, also on Saturday 2nd June, finishes at 6pm – so there’s still time to get up to The Mall in good time for the start of the Pixie Lott concert!
