Work has started at Bradley Stoke Leisure Centre on the installation of a brand new coffee shop.
SOHO Coffee Co. will be opening in May for all leisure centre and library users, a first for SOHO Coffee Co. – and for Circadian Trust, which operates the leisure centre.
This is part of a continuing programme of improvements by not-for-profit organisation Circadian Trust, which runs the leisure centres in South Gloucestershire. Bradley Stoke Leisure Centre has recently undergone a £115,000 refurbishment programme to its fitness facilities and further plans to improve the reception area are underway.
Dean Barney, Regional Manager for Circadian Trust, said:
“We’re always looking at ways we can improve our leisure centres and the overall experience. A lot of our customers like to relax after a swim or work out by having something to eat or drink; by bringing a such a good quality and established brand to Bradley Stoke, we will be able do this.”
SOHO Coffee Co. will serve organic, Fairtrade coffee, a range of made to order juices and smoothies, fresh, handmade sandwiches, baguettes and paninis, salads, jumbo jacket potatoes, breakfast and pastries. A range of new food has been developed especially for the very important Bradley Stoke younger guests – check out SOHOKids.
Penny Manuel, from SOHO Coffee Co., commented:
“We are delighted to be working in partnership with Circadian Trust. The SOHO at Bradley Stoke will see SOHO mark its entry into the very exciting leisure centre market in our home market of Bristol. Our values very much fit in with those of Circadian Trust. We are developing and tailoring our offer to meet the needs of our customers wishing to relax with their families or refuel with healthy and high energy options after an energetic workout.”
A temporary café will be available until SOHO Coffee Co. opens in mid-May.

I’m sure it will be a nice environment but I guess all the prices will go up. How much will a cup of coffee cost?
After talking to some of the staff today , they rekon a cup of coffee will go up from £1.40 to £2.70.
But we will have to wait and see.
I know alot of people who meet there have decided to go to either costa or sub way over in willow brook.
Looking forward to a relaxing atmosphere , not sat in a corridor like at the moment lol
